SIA CASTOR CONSTRUCTION started its operations in Latvia in 2007, and we expanded to Finland in 2009. Our operations handle Real Estate development and Main Contractor construction services. We are a professional and agile operator, capable of the cost-effective implementation of the most demanding construction projects. During our first years of operation, we built a residential building in Riga and implemented the Design&Build
Contract for Latvijas Finieris VEREMS plywood factory in Rezekne. Similarly, in Finland, our first project was a sheltered housing complex for senior citizens in Hakunila, Vantaa, after which we have implemented several commercial projects for Tokmanni and Kesko as well demanding residential projects in Helsinki region.Currently we are constructing two residential projects in Helsinki region; one in Espoo, Haukilahti and an other one in the heart of Helsinki, Bulevardi 14.

Our organization is professional, cost-effective and we create competitively added value for our customers. Over the years, we have, through experience, established an extensive and skilled subcontractor network in both Latvia and Finland. Many of our projects have been financed by Castor's investor partners and we have also been involved as the investors in some areas. Primarily we focus on projects in which we believe that we can bring added value to our end-users through our cost-effective approach.

Castor Latvia
​
CASTOR's operations in Latvia began in 2007 and we have implemented a row of construction projects in Latvia including several projects for Latvijas Finieris factories as Main Contractor whilst the technology was supplied by a Finnish listed company, Raute Oyj. For commercial projects we could mention the head office reconstruction for E.Gulbja laboratorija, interior design contracts for Seppälä and Lindex belonging to the Stockmann Group as well as a business centre implemented for the Finnish enterprise Lindström with a total area of ​​approximately 5000 m2. We have executed Hardware factory office reconstruction for Latvijas Finieris, two office premises for Pohjola Bank and Seesam Latvia. We have done the reconstruction of Vineer factory in Kohila, Estonia. We have completed two residential projects in Riga, and at the end of 2017 we completed a demanding development project that was completed in the old town of Riga on Citadeles street 6. The latest completed project is the new Express Terminal for DHL at Lidosta Airport. Organizing the financing of this project is also in the scope of Castor. Recently we have also started the construction of some 22.000 sqm production line for Latvijas Finieris in Rezekne,eastern Latvia. The largest birch plywood producer in Europe is expanding.

Castor Finland
We work in Finland through our subsidiary CastorCon Finland Oy and we began our operations in 2009 when we built a sheltered housing complex for senior citizens with 25 apartments in Vantaa. Our following project was the shopping centre Komppi that was constructed in Ikaalinen, where we worked as a Real Estate Developer, the main contractor and participated in the financing of the project. The shopping centre was opened in March 2014 and its 17 stores have received a good reception. (www.komppi.fi) We have implemented and financed the retail premises in Ikaalinen, Keuruu and Juva for Kesko as well as for Tokmanni in Tammisaari and in Hanko in addition to the previous locations. At the moment we are constructing two 5 storey residence buildings consisting 46 apartment in Kauniainen, close to Helsinki.
